Another method is to disable the hardware acceleration to resolve discord crashing. To do that, follow the following steps:

By clicking on the “gear” like icon open “User Settings”:

After going to the settings click on “Voice and Video”. Scroll down the section till you find “Audio Subsystem”. Click on the audio subsystem then select “Legacy” from the drop menu:

Another method to try would be clearing the cache. This can show significant changes since there is a chance the files might have gotten corrupted. Follow the following steps:

Step 1: Open App Data

To open app data click “Window key + R”. A small dialogue box will open. In the insert box enter “%appdata%”. Then click OK.

Step 2: Open the Discord Folder

After that, a menu of files will appear then find a file named “Discord”and open it:

Now, open the “cache” folder:

After opening the cache file its contents will be displayed before you. Our goal is to clear these files. For that press “Ctrl + A” to select all the elements. Then right-click on the files. Select the delete option from the menu that appears.

Similarly, like the cache file, these harmful and unnecessary files will be removed to prevent problems like crashing. Go back to the files of the discord folder and click on “Local Storage”

When you open the Local Storage File you will see a subfile “leveldb” being presented to you click on it to open it:
